Here's Khloe with her bucket and she is apparently very excited about being at the parade.
The second parade we attended was the Bountiful parade for the Handcart Days celebration. It was very hot, very long, and they didn't throw very much candy (which was fine because we STILL have candy left from the West Bountiful parade.) Kenadie had the opportunity to dance behind a float for her dance studio and it was her first time in a parade. Afterwards she said she didn't ever want to do it again! I don't blame her, it was pretty miserable for those of us watching so I can imagine it was ten times worse for someone walking/dancing in it.
We discovered in the middle of the miserable parade that Kam was running a pretty high fever. The poor thing wasn't interested in anything going on around her and just wanted to snuggle. Chris ended up taking her with him to pick up Kenadie and get in the air conditioned car. I have a better picture of her, one where she's not scowling, but my mom decided to turn her head and she looks like a blurry mess so alas, this is the one I'm posting.
I happened to catch her in the middle of a toe-touch and I must say she has gotten a lot better at them. I know it's not perfect, but she's definitely improved.
On the 24th of July we invited the neighborhood over for some fireworks and we had a lot of fun. I hope it becomes a tradition, it's so nice to not have to drive anywhere and deal with traffic and tired, cranky children!
I love this picture of the Hall boys, Brendon and Ethan, while playing with some sparklers. The shutter speed on my camera was super slow since it was so dark and this is how it came out.

I was kind of surprised with how many kids we had running around with sparklers that someone didn't get burned by one!
I will definitely give Kenadie one thing: She is way more flexible than I have ever been! You go girl!
