Kenadie's Baptism

I know I am about a month behind in posting this, but oh well! Kenadie was baptized on March 6 and it was such a fun day! I thought I would cry more, but I was too busy to worry about tears. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked either, but again, I was very busy running around trying to make sure we had everything, re-setting up tables and chairs, (they had been taken down overnight when we set them up on Friday, someone apparently thought they were being helpful!) and then making sure Kamryn didn't try to jump in the baptismal font. (And yes, she really would have if we let her!)

Here are the few pictures I did manage to get!

Kenadie in the fabulous white jumper:

Fresh from the waters of baptism. ("Hurry Mom, it's cold!")

Enjoying some food at the luncheon afterwards.

The cake that I think turned out so cute! (Parson's Bakery, of course! Is there any other?)

Daddy and daughter after the baptism. (I felt bad I didn't get any pictures of them together before, but again, running around with my head cut off like a chicken put a small damper on things.)

The Dress. I love, love LOVE it! We found it at an online modest clothing store and Kenadie picked the color of the sash. She looked like a princess in her white dress and tiara. She IS the daughter of a King, so why not? :)

We are so proud of Kenadie's decision to be baptized and of the wonderful young lady she has become. She is such a great example to everyone around her and we love her so much!

Thanks to everyone who came and supported her on this special day!
