After 2 1/2 years of following Kenadie around, the time has finally come for Kamryn to do her own activities. Yesterday was Kam's first day of dance. I talked to her about it a few days prior and when I asked her if she wanted to go, her response was "No." I had a feeling we were going to be in for a long couple of months until her recital in May. I decided to take her anyway and she was actually excited when we got her dressed in her little dance outfit. We dropped Khloe off at Melissa's (you're the BEST, thank you!) and headed out to Pat's to find Kamryn some ballet shoes. She was so cute sitting there getting fitted for her shoes and even carried her bag out to the car. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot at dance, she said "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Me! Me! Me!" It was then that I knew she wouldn't have much trouble going to dance class. I did have to pull her into the room at first and she looked out the door a few times to make sure I was still there, but it didn't take her long to warm up to her teacher and classmates.
At the beginning, they put a sticker on their right foot and a stamp on their right hand so they know which way to go. I remember when Kenadie did this...*sniff*...time really does go by way too fast.

Waiting for instruction, she was surprisingly well-behaved and listened to her teacher! Pretty good for a not-quite-three year old.

Walking with arms out (or up by your head, whatever works!). Sorry for the quality, they were taken through the observing window.

Galloping with the "yee-haws" as Kamryn calls them.

At the end they had a little story and then practiced moving like the different animals.

I am excited that Kamryn gets to do her own thing now, but it also means that my baby is growing up. I can't imagine how busy we are going to be in a few years when all three of my girls are in dance!

That is adorable!! She is so cute!!! I can't wait for Kaylee to get to do that! I will have to get the name of the dance place you go to!
She is darling! Love the chubby legs in tights...it's my favorite thing about little girls!
I can't believe she is old enough to be in dance! She's so cute in her little outfit!
She looks darling, especially in that picture with her hands up! I can't believe how much she is looking like Kenadie. What a cutie!!
She is so graceful! Especially with her hands up! I think you have a budding ballerina there!
