Well, it has been a long two days, but we are excited to announce that Khloe Rebecca made her appearance into the world on Wednesday, May 27 at 10am weighing 8lbs 7oz and measuring 20 inches long! My labor was quick as we expected, just over 2 hours and we got to hold Khloe for about 15 minutes before I sent her to the nursery with Chris. I tried to nurse her but I knew she didn't sound right because she was grunting when she was trying to breathe and I wanted her to be checked out. As she was being born, she tried to take a big breath and swallowed some air/fluid into her stomach and lungs. She's been in the NICU since about 10:30am yesterday and we've had a lot of ups and downs. She will probably be there through the weekend and we're not sure when we will get to bring her home but we hope it's soon. I also don't know when we will be discharged because we're trying to stay a little longer with her. We should find out more tomorrow.
For now, here are some pictures. She had a nasal cannula at first but she wasn't doing as well on it so now she has the head box and she's actually much happier. She was finally able to eat from a bottle today and we were very happy about that. She's a little chubbs and we love her to pieces!

I am glad to hear things are going okay...I know it must be hard to have her in the NICU, but they will take good care of her!! Please let us know if we can do anything for your family!! How sweet! She definitely looks like a McKay girl, her lips look exactly like her two sisters. Love the head of hair she's got there! I am so glad she is doing better! Hopefully we'll see you all home together soon! Know you guys are loved and are in our prayers!

Congratulations! I hope she gets better fast. I know how it is not to be able to hold your baby- so I hope that doesn't last long! Good luck- we are thinking of you! Mike thinks she is a cute baby and he hopes to see her soon (and I do too of course!)
