This weekend, we had a lot of things to accomplish before the baby comes on or before Wednesday. So, of course, everyone in this house came down with some sort of virus. Everyone except me, that is, and I'm pretty useless these days without Chris' help when it comes to chores. I've been having a lot of contractions too so that doesn't help anything. I was excited on Thursday and Friday when the contractions came but that turned into a hope that the baby would stay put until everyone was healthy again. The last thing I want is to bring a newborn home to a house of illness.
Anyway, we didn't get one thing done today so I guess it's a good thing Monday is a holiday. We do have plans to take the girls swimming that afternoon and we are having family over for cake and ice cream to celebrate Kamryn's birthday even though it's not until the 31st. But she won't know the difference yet so we can get away with it this one time. So maybe somewhere in there we can get something accomplished. We'll see I guess...
