Baptism

My 11 year old nephew, Keaton was baptized tonight. He is my brother's son from a previous relationship and Keaton and his mom just started going to church. I'm really excited for him. Chris and I bought him a Quad combination and put his name on them and my mom got him a scripture case and some other stuff to go with it. I had to give a talk on baptism and really sort of dreaded it because I am in NO WAY a public speaker. I wish I could be one of those people who give talks strictly from memory (like Chris) but I can't. I have to have everything written word for word and if I look up from my paper I will lose my place and then have to figure out where I was. I think I was more nervous before I stood up, but once I started speaking, it wasn't so bad. I was actually kind of proud of myself for writing my own talk because I have never done that before. I think it was maybe 2 or 3 minutes long so if I had to speak in Sacrament meeting (which won't happen) I would be in so much trouble!
Anyway, Keaton is going to be confirmed on Sunday at 9am which isn't the best time for us considering our own church isn't until 1pm! Oh well, it's worth it!
