Mother's Day is always a great day at my house. Chris lets me sleep in and this year he and the girls made me breakfast in bed, which was toast and scrambled eggs. After we got home from church I took a nap without any disturbances and then we went to my parents house for a short visit before going to Chris' sister's house for dinner. It's always interesting when you put the men in charge of dinner, you never know what you're going to have. ;-) Dinner ended up being over an hour later than originally planned because Chris' brother was making dutch oven potatoes and they were taking a lot longer to cook than he thought they would. They were worth the wait though because they were really good! Everything else was yummy too and it was a nice, relaxing evening.
I'm so grateful for my wonderful husband and children. Being a mom is sometimes very difficult, but it is also one of the most wonderful, rewarding experiences I've ever had. I love my girls so much and I wouldn't be who I am today without them. I'm also grateful for a loving mother who raised me well and did everything she could to make my life awesome. I am so blessed to have her in my life and couldn't ask for a better mom!
