Scary morning
At 6:00 this morning, I woke up to realize I had fallen asleep feeding Kamryn. Normally I just sleep until she wakes me up again, but this time was different. As soon as my eyes were open, I heard a voice say, "Put your hand on your baby's back." Without even thinking about it, I put my hand on Kamryn's back and felt no movement. I shook her a little bit and she didn't move. I got up on my elbow and shook her a little bit harder and still, she didn't move. I put my hand on her chest and there was no movement. By this point I'm starting to freak out and I quickly push on Chris's back to wake him up. He turns over and asks what's the matter and I am in such shock that I can't speak. This time, I take my arm out from under Kamryn's head and shake her a little harder and I hear her take a deep breath. After I knew she was okay, I started to tell Chris what happened and he picked her up as I was talking and said, "Now I need to snuggle her!" I was wide awake after this and still a bit freaked out. I got up to check on Kenadie, who was snoring away and then went into our bathroom. While I was in the bathroom I got on my knees and thanked my Heavenly Father for the safety of my children. I am so greatful that I listened to that voice.

I stayed home from ward conference because for some reason my stomach did not want to go anywhere today. I have Elizabeth with me. Sometimes we forget in life that really our families are all that matter. I'm glad you are ALL okay. If you need anything hollar! (maybe this might push you to get Kamryn in her own room?)
My heart was pounding when I read this post!!! I am so glad you listened to the spirit and that she was ok!!
Oh my gosh, how terrifying! I'm glad she is alright.
Wow. That's scary, and amazing at the same time.
