My mom came over this morning and we made some treats to send to my grandparents in Washington. It's become an annual thing for us because old people are SO very hard to buy for! We sent them treats a few years ago and they loved them! We made fudge and something called coconut squares (they bring back fond memories of my grandma who died a little over 6 months ago :( ). Oh, and caramel popcorn and marshmallow peanut squares, which are the top secret recipe from my mother-in-law. Everything turned out really well, but I have too much left over! So, if you live near me and want some treats, come on down!
On a more EXCITING note, we FINALLY got a couch and loveseat for our basement! Yay!!! It will be here on Wednesday and I can't wait! I seriously almost cried when we found them because it's pretty discouraging to go furniture shopping and everything is either ugly, too formal or too expensive! I'll post pics when we get them!

yummy! And Yay for the couch!!!!! One of these days I will actually get a new couch without it being a hand-me-down!! lol
