Chris and I went on our first date. I can't believe it's been 9 years. Time flies! We went ice skating at the Galavan Center and then to McDonald's for hot chocolate. I know, McDonald's on a first date??? But, in his defense, it was late and it was the only place open! As we were skating around the ice, I knew that we were going to get married. I guess you could say it was sort of love at first sight! I don't know how I knew we were going to get married, I just had a strong feeling. I was 18 and he was 21, fresh off his mission. We didn't get engaged until a little over a year later, but I think we both needed to grow up a bit before we took the plunge. We have been married for 7 1/2 years and I couldn't ask for a better husband and father. He is truly an amazing person and I love him more than I could ever say!

Awesome! I love that you know and remember what you did on your first date. (ours was November 18, 1995, Chris and I have been together for over 12 years - are we old or what). Did you do anything to celebrate?
Chris brought me home some flowers and then we got the girls' pics taken at Kiddie Kandids! It wasn't anything special, but atleast we were together I guess! lol
