Obedience
My 5 year old is very obedient. Sure, she has her moments when she doesn't want to do what I've asked or she whines about it, but she still does what she's told. I was reading in a magazine the other day on how to keep your kids from getting sick. One thing was to make sure they wash their hands often for atleast 20 seconds, especially before meals. Anyway, I told her about this when we were washing our hands together and she started counting fast to 20. I explained to her that seconds were a little bit slower than she was counting and then I helped her do it. Last night as I was feeding my baby, she was in the bathroom washing her hands and I could hear her counting 1...2...3...4... etc. I smiled as I remembered our conversation on how to count seconds properly. I am so greatful that atleast one of my children is obedient! lol Of course, we don't know about the baby yet because she's still too little, but I hope she follows in her sister's footsteps!

That's great! I hope my kids are that obedient. When I was a waitress I was washing my hands constantly during my shift and I would sing the ABCs in my head a couple times to make sure I did it long enough.
That's wonderful! My 5 year old is the opposite of obedient! She does whatever she can to defy me lately. So good for you!
Um, hello? How come I didn't know you had a blog??
Oh, my little carrot! My how I've missed you! I have no excuses as to why you didn't know I had a blog. I don't find myself very interesting. And maybe, just maybe, there's a little bit of guilt for not posting on yours more!
