Dance Recital

Kenadie and Kamryn had their end of the year dance recital a few weeks ago. Kenadie was on a showteam again this year so everyone had seen her dance a few times before, but it was the first time we got to see Kamryn dance on stage. They both did really well and I was a little surprised that Kamryn remembered her dance and actually performed on stage! The audience was laughing because the little kids were so darn cute! There was one boy in the class who kept walking off stage and a few others just stared at the crowd, but that's to be expected when the performers are only 2 and 3 years old. Kamryn did the best in her class, and I'm not just saying that because she's my daughter and I think she's cute, it really is true. :)

Kenadie has improved a lot with her splits, toe touches and heel stretches, I don't think I've ever been as flexible as she is! She always looks so grown up on the stage and it almost makes me cry because she is growing up so fast! She got medals at both of her competitions and they took second overall with a "High Gold" score. She loves dancing and will hopefully continue to do it for a long time.

Kamryn's dance was "Mr. Golden Sun" and Kenadie's was "Supermodel".
