Suzy Homemaker

I've never professed to be a good cook, in fact, there's a lot that I need to learn but just don't have the time for right now. So, back in December when Chris' sister Kellie told me she was having a bread making party at her house, I decided to go. I have a breadmaker that I really wanted for Christmas a long time ago and the only one who has ever used it is Chris. Pretty sad if you ask me.
I arrived at the party not expecting much and didn't even bring any money so I wouldn't be suckered into buying something I would never use. Well, it's a good thing I have my debit card number memorized! I did in fact buy something at the bread party and I definitely use it.
All. The. Time.
We now make loaves of bread that cost 49 cents a piece to make and they are de-lish! Not much in life is better than a fresh loaf of bread right out of the oven! I've also made cinnamon rolls, barbeque chicken pizza, monkey bread, rolls, taco braids and stuffed-crust pepperoni pizza, which I happen to have a picture of. According to Chris, it was better than any pizza from a fast-food chain he's ever had. Maybe he was just trying to be nice, but I'm okay with that! I thought it was good and my kids ate it so that's really all that matters.

I never thought I could make bread from scratch and I probably still wouldn't if it weren't for this super easy stuff I got from the bread party. It was actually pretty cheap too, $15 well spent if you ask Chris! :)

(And yes, I know there is a space at the top of my bread loaf, but I'm still learning how to shape properly!)

Here's the website: www.breadmadeeasy.com
It's fast-rising yeast and Soy Lecithin.
