Election Day

First of all, I just want to thank everyone who voted early! I had to volunteer in Kenadie's class this morning, so as I was driving home in the SNOW, I stopped at City Hall to vote. I kid you not, I was in and out in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES! WOOHOO!!! I knew procrastination would pay off someday!!!

As for the actual election, I'm pretty sure that Obama is going to win and I'm not terribly happy about that. I don't think McCain is the perfect choice, but something about Obama doesn't sit well with me. I don't really care for his wife, Michelle either. She seems too power hungry and snobby.
So, now you know who I voted for and I'm okay with that. I don't want to have a debate with you, you are all free to make your own choices and have your own opinions.

I don't know if your Chris told you or not but my Chris was in line right in front of your Chris at city hall this morning around 10 am. Good job for voting at all!

That's funny you say that, because Cindy McCain seems like a snob to me.

I just have to say that I agre with you. But I would have liked to see Palin in there. I think that she would have done a good job in there. She can hold her own

Well, I just want you to know that I found it quite rude to call me and rub in the fact that you didn't have to wait in line to vote. I guess I should have followed your advice and voted on election day like you. So I guess you woke up this morning in the same mood as me. Somewhat somber. Here's hoping and praying the next four years bring good "change."

Yeah...I voted early to avoid LONG LINES..and ended up waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes....never again! I apologize to Melissa, since I think I had mentioned voting early to her, and made it sound like a good idea...
It will be interesting to see what happens over the next 4 years...I think no matter who won, they have their hands full!

OH, and yeah, Nick voted after work on Tues, walked in, voted, and walked out...
